Friday, May 26, 2017 her Excellency Ambassador of Finland Ms. Anne Huhtamäki opened the HAMK / ECK Summer School 2017 ceremony!
One of the most important events in the field of Summer School 2017 education was held yesterday at the European College of Kosovo in cooperation with one of the most prestigious and globally known universities for higher education system, HAMK University of Finland.
The Ambassador of Finland, Ms. Anne Huhtamaki was present to officially open this program and during the speech stressed out the importance of this youth education program and that every day the state of Finland is astonished by the agreements that are being created with Kosovo in the field of education and how much It is important for both countries to have students interested in higher education because only in this way there may be a country's development. Also during the speech she didn’t hesitate to address the audience in Albanian language which was welcomed by the students.
Kosovo and Finland have found the best way of cooperation, given the importance of education and training of young students from our country offering an excellent opportunity to learn from distinguished personalities of education at the international level. The European College of Kosovo is the result of the unification of local and international staff with the sole purpose of ‘’Creating New European Values for a Prosperous Future’’. Academic programs according to European standards, academic staff not only national and international, partnership with many universities from Europe, the possibility of transferring students to European universities and the support of students with scholarships are fundamental values that the European College of Kosovo gives special value and are priority issue for studies.
Such collaborations aside from bringing innovation to our country are extremely important for raising the educational level of our youth and a perfect opportunity to learn the theory and practice of local professors and professors from Finland, one of the countries with the best education system in the world.
